HOW TO GET THE BALL ROLLING ON YOUR TATTOO HERE AT LUCID ARTS TATTOO STUDIO DEPENDS ON A FEW DIFFERENT FACTORS...
The most important thing to consider is the size and complexity of your tattoo.
You will be required to bring some reference material with you (ie. a rough sketch, some pictures showing the idea you have, any important information such as names, dates, or wording if that will be incorporated in your tattoo, the approximate size and location of your tattoo, as well as a written description of what you'd like tattooed).
Once we have the above information, we will then decide if your tattoo will be considered a walk-in, or will require an appointment.
If your design something that we can draw up for you in a relatively short amount of time, you'd be considered a walk-in, and we will be able to both quote your tattoo on the spot and get you tattooed the same day.
Most small to medium sized tattoos will be quoted once the design is finished and sized. Our quotes are based off of our hourly rate and are estimated by how much time we think is involved with tattooing your design.
Please note that walk-in tattoos are subject to artist availability and are strictly on a first come, first served basis.
If your design is more detailed and we feel like we need some time to draw it up rather than have you wait in the lobby, we will require a non-refundable deposit to get started.
Try to be as detailed as possible, and have a pretty solid idea of placement and a rough size. Would you like your tattoo to be black and grey, or full color?
When you drop off your deposit, an appointment will be scheduled for you to get your tattoo done.
You will not be able to see your artwork until the day of your appointment, but you can trust that if your design is well thought-out and clearly conveyed to our artists, you'll be more than pleased with what we come up with for you.
If there's anything that needs to be tweaked with your design, we can most likely do it the same day as your appointment. If, by chance, there are major design changes, your appointment will be rescheduled to the earliest possible time.

You may send your digital files and descriptions to our general mailbox at firstname.lastname@example.org, but please be aware that you might have to come in for a consultation unless it's a VERY straightforward design.
